Snowdonia Attractions

In Snowdonia there are numerous tourist attractions in the area including the Snowdonia National Park, National Trust properties at Bodnant Garden, Plas Newydd and Penrhyn Castle.

There are also castles at Conwy, Caernarfon and Criccieth, and local steam railways include the Ffestiniog Railway and the Snowdon Mountain Railway.

Snowdonia boasts a wide range of other activities including castles, beaches, slate mines and narrow gauge steam railways, notably the Ffestiniog Railway from Blaenau Ffestiniog to Porthmadog Harbour.

   

Another scenic train journey is the main line service from Blaenau Ffestiniog, through mountains and valleys to the North Wales coastal town of Llandudno. This is also the link with main rail network making it easy to travel to the guest house by train.
